How we use your personal information

The personal information you provide is passed to the Chief Executive of Skills Funding (“the Agency”) and, when needed, the Department for Education, including the Education Funding Agency to meet legal responsibilities under the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009, and for the Agency’s Learning Records Service (LRS) to create and maintain a unique learner number (ULN). The information you provide may be shared with other organisations for education, training and employment–related purposes, including for research. Basis of Processing of your Data

The College will treat all personal data as confidential and will not use or process it other than for legitimate purposes connected with your education (which are available on the College’s website or from your faculty’s office/Student Information Services).

College Obligations

Steps will be taken to ensure that the information is accurate, kept up-to-date and not kept for longer than is necessary. Measures will also be taken to safeguard against unauthorized or unlawful processing and accidental loss or destruction or damage to the data.

Your Rights

Subject to certain exceptions you are entitled to have access to your personal data held by the College. The College may charge you a fee (subject to the statutory maximum) for supplying you with your personal data.
